The work, Mappae mundi, 8 fig., consists of a row of panels which present a collection of different maps, including found, hand-drawn maps and pages from Atlases with corrections drawn on them. The maps on the panels possess varying degrees of correctness, but they have all been produced in relation to a common goal; to describe and explain a larger or smaller segment of the world.
In his work as an artist, Lasse Krog Møller (born 1972) is primarily occupied with the collecting, registration, description and mapping of the world’s more diminutive objects and principles.
