“Solde d’Objets” (Sale Of Objects), performance
Al Masson has been working with objects which he collects. They are mostly trashy plastic, and other cheap materiels, which he uses and recycles for different purposes, ranging from sculptures/objects and installations to photographs, videos, etc.
For Alt-Cph, Al Masson will present these objects again during a performance action. It will make an ironic commentary about the symbolic idea of art fairs, and art itself in relation to packaging/presentation and profiling.
Al Masson, born in Marseille, France, has lived in Denmark since 1996, after many years in New York. He has studied at the Ecole Des Beaux Arts, Brussels and at the Art Student League, New York.
